ABOUT / VOLUMEN IV
A place for
paying attention.

Volumen IV is a personal journal of photographs, observations and considered work.
Its interests move between the built world and the open landscape, with room for projects, experiments and the details that sit between larger events. Photography provides a starting point: a way of noticing, recording and returning.
The first edition brings together three strands: Built Silence, Water & Weather, and Field Notes. They share an interest in material, atmosphere and the character of a place.
The journal is deliberately quiet in its presentation. Images are given space, stories are allowed to find their own length, and identity stays mostly behind the work.
